The exciting thing is that when we get to heaven, we will be in continuous fellowship and communion with the Lord. We're learning how and setting the habit now.

For me, it's a day by day effort and blessing to walk and talk with God throughout the day . The best topic for me is the bible passages I read that morning. cheers

I usually wake up and have my "Quiet Time" right away in my bedroom. I read about 15 minutes and then pray for about 15 minutes. Then, it's a day long on-going conversation about anything that comes to our minds.
Everything is on the table.

When I'm right with Him, it's the sweetest thing in my day and life. bounce

My favorite quiet time with the Lord is all day long while I work outside. He has blessed me with the mantainance of some of His creation, and He whispers to me while I tend to the chores He has given me.

The best days are when I don't get in too much of a hurry in the morning, and I take time to say "good morning" to the Lord. I love mornings. (but I'm kinda strange that way; I rejoice in paying taxes and serving on jury duty as well, lol). Mornings are like Springtime; the birth of a new day full of God's wonders.

I do need to work on quiet time with Him in regards to my wife and me together praying. We have some sweet times when we remember to do that, but it still has not become a good habit yet.

Thanks for the question David, it made me think about it, and now I can make some positive steps to improve!

I pray often while I'm out and about. On some days, I have many two minute prayer times with God while I'm driving or shopping or doing other stuff. My Quiet Time lasts all day and sometimes I'm even reading in the middle of the night. Last night, I was awake at about 1am and I read the first five chapters of Amos. Not only did I go right back to Sleep but I am now about half way through a reading project I try to do once a year (reading through the various sections of the Old Testament).
